The Lands of Dark Fate

Welcome, welcome stranger to Northgate. I hope you will enjoy your stay in the North. For the last 7 years my tabletop RPG group have been conducting our adventures in my homebrew campaign world of Northgate.

What started as a one-shot using a new gaming system with a single location has turned into a grim, living world where society is hemmed in on all sides by darkness, whether that be the twisted things in the wilderness or the darkness lurking in the corners of the heart. Good. Evil. They are blurred here. The world is harsh and you survive however you can. The morally ambiguous will thrive while the morally constrained fight to stay alive.

Across the pages of this site, you will find maps, lore, letters, poems and songs of those who have made the lands of the North their home. We hope it inspires you and can be used as a campaign setting for your RPG games. While we use the Zweihander system to run our games, I have endeavored to make this site’s contents system neutral. Browse away traveler, and may you find what you seek. Just remember that sometimes the curious find more than they bargained for in these lands.
